Nathan Allen has been a student of the drums for 18 years. Early work in marching band developed an appreciation for big sounds and showmanship. Then the study of classic and modern jazz led to an interest in musical chaos and linear composition. 

 He has been drumming in the band Million Year Sound Wave since 2003.  Based in Los Angeles , MYSW is constantly influenced by the myriad genres and styles of music that fill the

diverse city streets.  This creates an environment that is perfect for a wide range of musical ideas and percussive approaches.
